Misogyny is endless, endless, endless and so depressing and exhausting.
Everyone averts their eyes and nobody wants to deal with it. People only pay attention when a young and attractive woman is talking about it. Good on anybody who talks about it- but what if it's the young and attractive bit that people are listening to, and not what is being said?
Because it is so ubiquitous, it is 'invisible'. But it's in the music we listen to, the films we watch, the clothes we wear.
Can I resign from being a female?

You could try being a bloke for a day. I could probably get you the use of a white van if it helps. You could drive up and down Barnet High Street leaning out the window in full Sid the Sexist mode. But only if I can video it.
But I fully agree. Misogyny IS wrong. But it's an easy way of bolstering your self-esteem. Andrea Dworkin said a lot of stuff worth listening to, but her legacy seems to be as the inspiration for Millie Tant in viz. 'We can't be bothered to listen to the message, cos we don't want to shag messenger'
Related to this - has anyone to your knowledge looked at the misogyny/sexism of gig audiences? Pretty girl on stage - shut up and watch. Not so pretty girl on stage - talk amongst yourselves or go to the bar.
Be a fully-fledged misanthrope I say
