Things are tough at work. 'It will get worse' said my friend, who is also an academic.
I can't imagine it being worse: I am travelling into the land beyond the imagination.
OK, instead of my usual song of 'things can only get better', you have to sing the one from the old Dr Pepper ad 'what's the worst that can happen' ....... I find it helps me to think what the worst could be, form a plan to deal with it, then try not to dwell on it (not that I always take my own advice!!)
