you'd think so, wouldn't you? I think it's the word 'understanding' that exposes the flaw in the argument.
Whilst I dry my eyes from your previous post - an awful lot of people (trying not to generalise) can't, or don't want to, conceive of total despair. You don't cross the sea in a leaking boat for fun. Not everyone when flooded can just move into their country retreat.
