Surprise

They did not flower and the stems went dry and brown so I decided to tip out the compost and throw it on to the flower bed and then I found....

Yeah, but what did they taste like? I once dug up some suprise potatoes and even after 2 hours boiling they were still like rocks. Mind you, they'd been in the ground about 5 years....
